Responsible for driving and securing the sales performance of Motul across the South East US, in the Automotive segment. Develops and executes effective regional sales strategies with retail and wholesale accounts, influencers, and key industry events. Leveraging key accounts and other internal sales resources within the company to optimize performance. Actively contributes to developing and executing sales plans for the region.
·Secures the realization of budget objectives, both in terms of profitability and sales volumes at the regional level.
·Build new business relationships with business owners in the automotive market with distributors, service shops, fleets
·Facilitates efficient communication with internal stakeholders and implements and follows processes ensuring organizational performance.
·Develops commercial relations with territorial partners and other regional organizers, regional media, and others.
·Ensures the execution of contracts between Motul and its customers and distributors.
·Organizes territorial meetings with other sales department members and clients as necessary to communicate sales programs, marketing initiatives, customer/accounting/supply issues.
·Conducts training to customers on how to sell and use Motul’s products.
·Manages and directs follow-up of the major territorial accounts (dealers, agents, regional groupings…)
·Daily follow-up with client meetings, lead-generation plans, training, coordination of actions, the promotion of Motul’s values.
· Accountable for ensuring compliance with territorial budgets, including commercial partnerships, promotions, and complimentary initiatives, while closely monitoring and controlling costs as necessary.
· Reviews sales data on a regular basis and creates reports for the National Sales Director.
·Follow up where necessary on unpaid accounts, and assist in the collection of payments of invoices, in accordance with the objectives and the instructions that are assigned by the company.
·Participates in the development of the territorial Sales plan/policy, determining, presenting and following-up the objectives.
·Implements and monitors national sales campaigns within the territory, following up, analyzing, and correcting any deviations from plan.
·Monitors competition in terms of prices, products, promotions, etc. and submits reports to management on the impact of competition and how to improve Motul’s performance considering these moves.
Education/ Experience:.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
6+ years experience in oil/lubricants in the automotive industry
Certifications or Licenses:
Valid Driver License –required.
Passport to allow international travel.
