Job description
Position Summary: Manages the promotion and direction of the sales activities among customers or prospects in PA, NY, NJ, MA, CT, RI, ME, VT, NH, MD, DE, and VA. Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, pricing needs, discount rates, and assist in developing sales campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Develops and increases sales revenue to exceed assigned targets in the Powersports segment through all trade channels (National and Regional distributors and wholesalers, e-tailers, and retailers).
· Be actively involved in a new reseller’s sales orientation and sales training programs with our distributors’ sales force and our distributors’ customers.
· Be an expert at selling engine oil, transmission oil, and brake fluids to specialize distributors. The Regional Sales Manager is authority when it comes down to Motul products and its competitive edge on the market place.
· Acts as a resource to resellers in contract opportunities and building proposals within Motul USA guidelines and Sales policy.
· Assists resellers with contract negotiations, closing deals, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
· Assists with planning/attending regional trade shows and customer events.
· Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation.
· Keeps informed of new products launching, co-op marketing opportunities and sales incentives with customers.
· Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining resellers and assisting resellers in attaining new accounts.
· Attend races and other sponsoring events that are part of Motul USA promotion across the United States and Canada.
· Answers questions from resellers and handles Q&A within Motul USA guidelines and policy.
· Reports to the Powersports National Sales Director.

Education:
BA or BS is preferred but not a requirement.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Account Manager in the Powersports industry
MUST HAVE: Relationships and connections with regional Powersports distributors
MUST HAVE: Deep understanding Powersports mechanics.
Familiarity with the Powersports business is a requirement
Language Ability:
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
· Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
Competency using Microsoft Office, Outlook 365 and app based software
Certifications or Licenses:
