Regional Sales Manager – South of Romania
The Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) at Motul, is responsible to generate new customers for Motul´s importers, build direct relationships with them and grow Motul share in their customer’s assortment. To coordinate and to support sales and marketing activities provided to MOTUL importers and make all efforts to increase MOTUL’s brand awareness and visibility.
YOUR TASKS: MARKETING IS YOUR PASSION
- Ensure strong market coverage and maintain high distribution standards for Motul products across the assigned territory.
- Manage and develop relationships with distributors to achieve agreed sales and business objectives.
- Conduct regular visits to distributor locations and accompany sales teams on customer and trade visits.
- This is a field-based role: at least 50% of the working time is spent travelling within the assigned territory.
- Align Motul's growth objectives and diversification strategy with distributors' capabilities and market potential.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand and strengthen the distribution network.
- Monitor competitor activities, distribution strategies, and market presence to protect and enhance Motul's position.
- Perform competitor analysis and market mapping to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Manage daily customer operations, including order processing, order tracking, and claims handling.
- Analyze sales data to evaluate business performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations.
- Support the planning and execution of trade fairs, roadshows, promotional activities, and customer events.
YOUR PROFILE: QUALIFICATION MEETS PERSONALITY!
- Minimum 5 years' commercial experience within the automotive aftermarket sector
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of establishing credibility with key customers, prospects, and business partners. Open-minded, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic business environment.
- Based in Bucharest, Romania
- Availability and willingness to travel a minimum of 50% of the working time across the assigned territory, including overnight stays
- Driving license B
