As a Business Development Manager Power Generation & Heavy Duty  you are responsible for the development and establishment of sales and market support in the Power Generation and Heavy Duty Sectors within the region of Motul Polska organization. Manages market activities including identification of any new projects across the region in close cooperation with the local people in the countries.You ensure that the margin, sales and volume targets are achieved. You develop and monitor the market budget for the respective region and are responsible for ensuring that.

YOUR TASKS: SALES IS YOUR PASSION!

  • You will be fully in charge of the development of both market segments for the specified region, and as such, you will be responsible for:
  • Prospecting new opportunities and clients across the assigned territory leading to successful, sustainable, and profitable business in power generation specifically in diesel and gas(high emphasis on gas) for both lubricants and coolants -  in close cooperation with designated distributors.
  • Prospecting new opportunities and clients across the assigned territory leading to a successful, sustainable, and profitable business in Heavy Duty range (vehicles, agricultural equipment, marine range, other) for both lubricants and coolants in close cooperation with designated distributors.
  • Strong collaboration with decision-makers on the market across the country.
  • Develop and maintain the wider customer base ( sales leads and designated distributors).
  • Develop the required resources and programs to support the clients and/or end-user operators.
  • Monitor the market in terms of engine and application types and work in conjunction with the HD product department to suggest product evolutions.
  • Monitor sales development on the market and support distributor performance.
  • Support and help the distributor network in the region in identifying power generation business opportunities or creating them
  • Ongoing evaluation of distributor and distributor staff capabilities and assembling recommendations on strategies, including recommendations on any need for change or additions.

Profile

YOUR PROFILE: QUALIFICATION MEETS PERSONALITY!

 

  • 7+ years of experience in the high-horsepower power generation/ heavy duty engine/equipment sector
  • Knowledge of the power generation industry, with a focus on gas engines is a plus
  • Strong commercial acumen, ideally with experience in sales channels, engine/equipment sales, or service products
  • Technical background or understanding of internal combustion engines
  • Knowledge of lubricants and their functions is an advantage
  • Business fluent in Polish and English written and spoken
  • French and/or German would be a plus
