Motul is recruiting our External Communication Manager.

Your role at Motul:
· Develop corporate narratives
o Produce reference messaging and corporate supports to present the company to exterior publics, through speeches, presentations, videos, articles…
· Manage the corporate website
o Develop corporate content that highlights the positioning, strategy and values of the company (articles, videos, pictures…) and guarantee it is always up to date.
o Publish regularly on the News section.
o Pilot regular metrics analysis.
o Implement corrective actions / evolutions in coordination with the technical team (PO), contributors and agencies.
· Curate the corporate LinkedIn accounts
o Build and implement an editorial framework for LinkedIn, aimed to highlight Motul’s strategy and successes, and aligned with the brand narrative.
o Create relevant content that is adapted to the target and the format.
o Publish regularly on the Motul LinkedIn account.
o Support the agency for the Community management of the corporate LinkedIn account.
o Help top managers to amplify corporate news on their LinkedIn account.
· Media relations
o Support spokesperson with the necessary tools: messaging, Q&A, statements.
o Prepare the press materials: releases, kits, photos, videos.
o Distribute the press materials to targeted journalists.
o Respond to media inquiries.
o Accompany spokespersons in their speeches.
o Organize press events.
o Monitor the press coverage: monthly, after each announcement. Conduct regular media monitoring to identify risks and opportunities.
· Crisis communication
o Support the preparation of holding statements, Q&As and key messages for sensitive or urgent situations.
o Support monitoring and post-crisis analysis.
· Manage Heritage collection and related communication
o Manage the Motul collection: inventory, digitalization, retail process
o Showcase Motul’s heritage collection in exhibitions, fairs, museums…
o Craft messages to promote Motul’s legacy and link it to current life of the company
· Budget & organisation
o Pilot external agencies and manage the related budgets: brief, coordination of the workstream, monitoring to guarantee correct implementation of projects and actions.
· Performance monitoring & KPIs
o Define and track key performance indicators for external communication activities (media relations, corporate website, LinkedIn).
o Provide regular reporting and insights to continuously improve communication effectiveness
- Strong technical skills in copywriting, with clear, impactful written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven experience in public relations, content creation, program and project planning and management, as well as supplier management.
- Demonstrates effective leadership through an action-driven mindset, trustworthiness, proactive initiative, active listening, and the ability to foster collective intelligence within teams.
- Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication or marketing, supported by over ten years of professional experience in the communications field, including media relations.
- Bilingual profile with native-level proficiency in French (C2) and advanced fluency in English (C1).
- Strong IT proficiency, including advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite and professional LinkedIn account management.
