Motul is recruiting our Assistant Product Manager.

MOTUL is an international French company founded in 1853. We specialize in the production of high-performance lubricants for engines (two-wheelers, cars, heavy-duty vehicles and others), as well as for industry.

An Assistant Product Manager is responsible for supporting the (Senior) Product Manager in the execution of his global strategic and tactical mission. The Assistant Product Manager may also have responsibility for their own product lines.

The focus is on supporting the forming and iteration of the product roadmap, assisting with product developments and launches, conducting analyses regarding the product life cycle as well as taking the lead on aspects regarding packaging design and product data creation and administration. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams.

Your role at Motul :

(1)   Product Development + Optimisation

a.      Contribute to and support the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch.

b.      Work closely with R&D teams to ensure products are innovative, high-quality, and align with market demands

 

(2)   Packaging and Branding

a.      Ensure data is created, maintained and distributed through the ERP system.

b.      Keep the product information management (PIM) system up-to-date by enriching and renewing different product assets.

(3)   Data & Asset Management

a.      Ensure data is created, maintained and distributed through the ERP system.

b.      Keep the product information management (PIM) system up-to-date by enriching and renewing different product assets.

 

(4)   Product Lifecycle Management

a.      Conduct analytics through dedicated tools to monitor the performance of products in the market.

b.      Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to make informed decisions in the context of the product lifecycle.

 

(5)   Product Launch and Marketing

a.      Support on the development and executon of product launch strategies, working closely with marketing teams to create effective campaigns.

b.      Contribute to provide training and support materials for internal teams and retail partners.

 

(6)   Stakeholder Collaboration

a.      Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including research and development, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.

b.      Gather input from external stakeholders, including customers, retailers, and other industry experts

Profile

Your profile :

Desired experience: Internships or first experiences in a commercial environment is a must –  experience in a marketing or product role is a plus

-Industrial apprenticeship and experience in a technical or marketing role in the automotive sector 

-Good use and understanding of how SAP works, especially the MM module 

-French and English Fluent

-Microsoft O365, especially Excel and Powerpoint

-Knowledge of the automotive business/ petroleum industry: Will be the plus

-Good Sense of responsibility 

-Team spirit

-Positive attitude & Force of proposal
