Motul is recruiting our Group Product Manager – Bike Division
The Product Manager Bike is responsible for developing and managing the Bike product range, defining and executing the innovation roadmap, and coordinating the full product life cycle from concept to end-of-life.
This role is central in driving performance-oriented, market-relevant innovations, ensuring alignment between customer & market needs, technical feasibility, industrial constraints, and business objectives.
Your role at Motul :
Product Strategy & Range Development
• Define and manage the global Bike product portfolio (Care, Accessories, …).
• Build and execute a multi-year innovation and renovation plan, aligned with brand strategy and market opportunities.
• Identify gaps in the range and propose new products, upgrades, or discontinuations.
• Ensure product positioning, value proposition, and differentiation versus competitors.
Innovation & Market Insight
• Conduct continuous market, consumer, and competitor analysis.
• Translate field feedback, user insights, and performance requirements into product concepts.
• Drive a test & learn approach, including prototyping, lab testing, and real-world validation.
• Act as a strong voice of the market internally.
Product Life Cycle Management
• Lead products from ideation to launch and through their full life cycle.
• Coordinate product launches in collaboration with Marketing, communication, Sales, and Business Units.
• Monitor product performance (sales, margins, market feedback) and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage product end-of-life decisions and transitions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work in direct and autonomous contact with:
• R&D teams (formulation, testing, performance validation)
• Purchasing, Industrial and supply chain teams (feasibility, cost, timelines)
• Quality teams (compliance, reliability, continuous improvement)
• Business Units and local markets
• Pro Teams, co-development, real-world testing and validation.
Your profile :
Desired experience: A huge experience in similar jobs ( Bike Company).
-Good use and understanding of how works ASANA or other logiciels
-Senior approach about Marketing and R&D.
-French and English Fluent.
-Microsoft O365, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
-Good Sense of responsibility .
-Team spirit.
-Positive attitude & Force of proposal.
